Job Description:Vortexa is a fast-growing international technology business founded to solve the immense information gap that exists in the energy industry. By using massive amounts of new satellite data and pioneering work in artificial intelligence, Vortexa creates an unprecedented view on the global seaborne energy flows in real-time, bringing transparency and efficiency to the energy markets and society as a whole.Vortexa is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join our Analysis team in Singapore and have a direct impact on our ambitious growth plans. In this role, your responsibilities will include manipulating and analysing large datasets, testing and maintaining data quality, as well as running some of our data processes.You must be highly analytical and a driven self-starter with a positive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, friendly and constantly evolving start-up environment.Key responsibilities:

Manipulate, analyse and evaluate large data sets using Excel and/or a range of data analytics tools and programming languages (incl. Python, SQL etc)
Maintain and improve the quality of proprietary datasets
Take ownership of daily quality control processes
Support Market Research team in responding to ad-hoc client requests

Requirements:Our ideal candidate will have:

Experience in using advanced excel and/or other programming languages i.e. Python, SQL etc
Analytical rigour, extreme attention to detail and an investigate mindset
Results orientated focus, with the ability to efficiently prioritise multiple objectives
Strong communication skills; written, verbal and listening
