
PR & Communications Manager, APAC

- Independently manage the strategic communications strategy for APAC, aligned with marketing and business objectives
- Own and evaluate external agency partnerships in the region
- Develop and manage relationships between media and StoneX representatives
- Proactively pitch the StoneX business and representatives for commentary pickup, thought leadership, and other relevant opportunities for exposure
- Draft press materials, talking points, executive op-eds, and marketing communications
- Train and support to StoneX representatives for various media formats
- Provide crisis and issues management support to regional and global leadership
- Oversee media monitoring to track news coverage and guide strategy based on positive and negative media trends
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product, Legal, HR, ORM and Executive teams
- Develop frameworks for regional communications strategies, operations, standards and performance metrics, in alignment with global frameworks
- Provide monthly impact reports on regional communications strategies
- 10+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications, preferably with a mix of in-house and agency roles
- Proven success in leading strategic communications efforts that generate measurable brand visibility within financial services
- Deep relationships with media across APAC, including top-tier financial, business, and trade publications
- Strong background in crisis communications, reputation management, and executive profiling
- Ability to communicate complex financial topics across varied audiences and formats
- Experience working in matrixed, international organizations and cross-functional teams
- Data-driven approach to measurement and reporting
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a lean, hands-on environment, while also contributing to long-term strategy
- Experience integrating media outreach with broader marketing initiatives, such as thought leadership, events, and digital content
- Flexibility to operate across time zones to support high-priority communications, as needed
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred
