Job Description:Job DescriptionIPS is hiring! IPS is a pioneer in the application of single-source, integrated EPCMV for technically complex facilities. We have developed, implemented, and refined a lean integrated project delivery model that addresses the entire project life cycle. We are looking for a talented Project Scheduler /Planner to join our team in Singapore. This is a full-time office based permanent role.In this role, you’ll develop, monitor and update project Plans & Schedules encompassing the entire engineering, procurement, construction and qualification (EPCMV) life cycle. You will facilitate /participate in project scheduling meetings as well as Pull /Phase/ Takt/ Interactive planning sessions as required to develop, refine and progress project plans.You will analyze schedule input from project partners including clients, internal teams, vendors and contractors to verify schedule durations and integrity as well as evaluate logic and float paths. You’ll integrate data into an overall master schedule. You’ll assure credibility of the information in master schedule and make recommendations to manage float and (re)sequence activities to achieve project milestone /target dates. You will collaborate with estimating & cost control to resource /cost load schedules as required, as well as with team to support constructability and value engineering.You will evaluate schedule risk & perform analysis (Monte Carlo Simulation, etc.) as required. You’ll baseline schedules and document basis for approval. You’ll monitor schedule progress, deviations, and variances and assess impacts to the critical/near-critical path activities. You will assist in the developing alternatives for corrective action.You will perform jobsite walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities and analyze change orders for schedule impacts. You’ll continually progress & review schedules with project team to ensure accurate and timely data is incorporated and forecasted. You’ll prepare schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis, as well as maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.At the project completion, you’ll develop and record the project’s historical schedule information and “lessons learned” for future use.Bring your entrepreneurial spirit to IPS and be part of a growing dynamic team that delivers world class designs for our pharmaceutical clients and their facilities, where they develop and manufacture Biologic, Vaccine, API (organic synthesis), oral (OSD) and parenteral (Aseptic) drug products.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • BS degree in engineering, construction management or related field or have applicable experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a planner/scheduler on facilities capital projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction and qualification (EPCMV) processes is required. Experience in the Pharma /Biotech Industry is required.
  • Understanding of engineering, construction methodologies and technical documentation
  • Ability to generate earned value, SPI, CPI, and other schedule performance metrics
  • Demonstrated expertise in the use of modern planning and scheduling principles, methodologies, techniques and tools including CPM, Last Planner, 4D, etc
  • Strong analytical and computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Primavera P6 Planner, Microsoft Project & Office Suite programs is required. Knowledge of vPlanner, BIM 360 and other visual & collaborative planning tools is desirable
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and organizational skills are required with the ability to prioritize and manage large amounts of information to effectively meet deadline
  • PMI or AACEI certification is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, displaying creativity and innovation by continually working to improve solutions, tools, methods and service delivery system
