We stand out as the only German school abroad nominated for this award.Primary School Assistant TeacherThe German European School Singapore (GESS) is inviting expressions of interest for an experienced Primary School Assistant Teacher for Grades 1-5.Responsibilities

Assist teaching in primary classrooms:
Supervising and teaching small groups within a whole class or small group setting
Helping to prepare lesson materials
Filing and organising student work and resources
Supervising students during lunchtimes and breaktimes
Assisting lessons in art, physical education or other subjects, as needed

Requirements

Must be proficient in English spoken and written language, classes will be conducted in English
Fluency in other languages a plus as you will be communicating with colleagues and students who speak various languages
Tertiary education qualifications a plus
Experience working with children aged 5 to 11
Willingness and ability to learn and take direction
Flexibility, organisation skills and a caring attitude
