Job Description:Responsibilities:· Organize and track all class and flag state-related surveys and inspections to ensure vessels maintain compliance and are ready for commercial operations.· Facilitate technical activities and documentation related to vessel ownership or flag changes, ensuring smooth transitions during takeovers, handovers, or new builds.· Arrange the collection, servicing, and return of shipboard equipment sent ashore for maintenance, working closely with contractors to oversee progress and update internal systems.· Collaborate with superintendents to prepare dry-dock specifications, obtain and review contractor quotations, and monitor project timelines and budgets.· Track and verify the validity of trading certificates, coordinate hot work approvals, and manage daily correspondence with vessels to address operational needs.· Raise and process purchase orders after obtaining necessary approvals, ensuring timely and compliant procurement for technical requirements.· Source and coordinate delivery of ship supplies such as spares, stores, and provisions, ensuring accuracy in quality, cost, and delivery schedules.· Keep accurate logs, inventories, and supplier evaluations, while monitoring vendor performance and negotiating contract terms and pricing where applicable.RequirementsRequirements:· Minimum GCE 'O' Level qualification required; Diploma holders will be preferred.· At least 1 year of relevant experience in a shipping company in a technical or purchasing capacity is strongly desired.· Basic knowledge of technical operations and logistics, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for effective coordination and reporting.· Comfortable working with numbers and capable of evaluating quotations, contracts, and inventory data accurately.Clarence Khoh R1552376
