Job Title:Additive Manufacturing InternJob Description:Job Title: Additive Manufacturing InternJob SummaryThe intern will assist the R&D team in Additive Manufacturing projects relating to 3D printing, process optimization and material characterizationReports to: Lead Scientist (Additive Manufacturing)Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the engineer on lab set up activities, documentation, R&D and part printing works.Operates and maintain additive manufacturing machines, carry out preprocessing activities like powder preparation and loading, machine set-up.Perform powder and part characterization activities such as particle size analyzing, test coupon cut up, mounting and polishing works.Carries out post processing activities such as inspection, de-powdering, cleaning, and support removal.Work closely with the Additive Manufacturing team to support daily 3D Printing operations.Willing to learn operation of multiple machines and adapt to fast changing environment.Requisite Criteria & SkillsPursing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Aerospace, or Material Science.Knowledge on CAD (Solidworks or equivalent) and metallography analytical tools will be an added advantage.Team player with strong analytical skills
