The Group is also active in the production and marketing of sports and entertainment content on a global scale.Job Title: Products Counsel, APAC (3 months contract)Job specificationWe are looking for a dynamic and talented products lawyer for a role in the APAC dentsu legal team. This role is a great opportunity to tackle some of the most challenging issues arising from development of new products in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will join a large and vibrant international community of lawyers who provide practical and focused legal advice supporting dentsu as it drives sustainable business growth for our clients.We are looking for an individual who has a keen interest in understanding new products and will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role. There is plenty of opportunity to develop professional and personal skills and work alongside senior management as a trusted business advisor. While a background in media or technology is not necessary for the role, a keen interest in learning about new technologies is critical.This is a contract role for three (3) months.ResponsibilitiesBe at the forefront of reviewing and advising on new and existing products, as well as advising on ways to minimise risks both for us and our clients when taking these products to market.Collaborate effectively with teams across dentsu, to help implement and improve the regional product governance program.Monitor and respond to developments in the space of artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence, including new laws, regulations, key judgements, regulatory guidance etc.Advise and support on the development of contractual positions relating to new products.Who are we looking for?A common law qualified lawyer, with at least 5 years’ post - qualification experience.Experience advising on and analyzing products in relation to both commercial risks and regulatory compliance.Someone who:has a desire to learn more about the wider media and advertising industry;has strong commercial and business acumen that allows the individual to efficiently and expeditiously compare the relevant legal risks to the scope of commercial strategy and corporate objectives;can work autonomously, take initiative and be pro-active in addressing new matters or challenges;has a passion for the work they do and the industries they work in, with a demonstrated ability to show leadership;is confident to clearly communicate on matters that involve board-level and senior management attention; andhas the ability to collaborate with colleagues across teams and jurisdictions and enjoys working as a team.Dentsu Values
