This includes handling luggage, providing information and assistance, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the lobby and porte cochere. The role supports Shangri-La's service standards and contributes to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services & Concierge Support
Greet all guests entering and leaving the hotel in a courteous and professional manner.
Assist with luggage delivery, storage, and retrieval, ensuring safe handling at all times.
Provide lobby door coverage and assist with guest transportation needs.
Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with relevant departments for timely service.
Maintain awareness of hotel events, VIP movements, and occupancy levels.
Operational Excellence
Ensure the lobby and porte cochere are clean, tidy, and appropriately staffed.
Record and follow up on guest feedback and service issues using DR3.
Complete all required training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel procedures and programmes.
Adhere to key control, safety, and security protocols.
Teamwork & Communication
Participate in daily briefings and departmental meetings.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Support colleagues in delivering consistent, high-quality service.
Sustainability & Community Engagement
Uphold environmental initiatives and participate in corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
Key Requirements:
At least 1 year's working experience in front facing departments within the hospitality industry.
