Supplier Quality Engineer

• Attend all site leadership meetings, Gemba walks and daily standups to ensure supplier quality is responding to site & customer needs relative to purchased product (Voice of customer).
• Work with supplier to ensure all corrective action requests are obtained and implemented per targets due dates in support of Global Operations (GOPS) Quality Non-Negotiable.
• Manage supplier performance metrics for the sites i.e. Clinic Metrics, Management.
• Review CABs, Non-Negotiable, present current status to leadership team and recovery efforts.
• Support urgent needs/requests from the site, when non-conforming purchased product immediate recovery efforts have been deemed necessary or when efforts have failed to be effective.
• Support DQR/Source Inspection process by raising supplier concerns to DQR Management Team @P&C for immediate risk mitigation.
• Support clinic team in review of suspect nonconforming material on purchased product.
• Consult with supplier for immediate containment when non-conformance has been confirmed on purchased product.
• Support Procurement/Accenture with RTV’s and RMA requests when product to be returned to support an investigation.
• Take the lead in the investigations for any supplier related quality issues.
• Perform V2 & V1 QN assignments as tasked.
• Support SRI Process when requests are received from assigned suppliers.
• Determine if a formal corrective action is required, and if so, which level.
• Review and approve supplier QIM responses – driving to best mistake proof level as possible, ensuring the solution is robust.
• Participate in performance improvement processes through CORE.

• Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 3 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good working on Quality Management System meeting AS9100 requirements.
• Knowledge of Co-Ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) will be added advantages.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Generate quality related reports.
• Able to work in rotating shifts
