[What the role is] As a Product Manager in the Future Capabilities team, you'll lead the conceptualisation and delivery of AI and automation solutions that enhance BCA's capabilities and services. You'll work closely with data scientists, data/AI engineers, and stakeholders to identify opportunities, define product strategy, and drive implementation of intelligent solutions that serve BCA and its stakeholders.[What you will be working on][What you will be doing]Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage the BCA Product Owner to establish a clear product vision and roadmap for AI/ML and automation initiative and what is needed to get there
  • Lead discovery and validation of use cases through user research and stakeholder engagement
  • Define product requirements and translate complex agency needs into actionable technical solutions
  • Lead end-to-end product development using agile methodologies, from discovery and user research through to deployment and continuous improvement
  • Drive data-informed decision making through analytics, user research, and performance metrics to optimise product outcomes
  • Own project delivery parameters including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Government policies and standard operating procedures
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including business cases, procurement papers, and status reports for senior management
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and government requirements
[What we are looking for][What we are looking for]Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in modern product development/management technologies and practices such as Agile, Cloud, Design Thinking, and Product-Centric Development will be strongly preferred.
  • Working directly with engineers, designers and other product managers (ideally at least 3 years).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and align diverse groups
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable, open-minded, and comfortable working with ambiguity and change.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously
