- Lead the delivery of pricing initiatives for Individual Life product for HNW, Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring compliance with internal standards, proper risk assessment and best practice
- Manage resource prioritisations, delivery timeline and stakeholder
- Collaborate with client managers, underwriters and client to develop new life insurance products/benefits with consideration of marketability and risk management
- Manage the end-to-end process of getting approval for quotes that exceed pricing authority (e.g. discussion with Regional Pricing, Underwriting and Claims team)
- Develop the pricing sub-team, providing team members with clear guidance and imparting technical knowledge to the team.
- Support client managers in client delivery and communications (e.g. supporting product and pricing queries from clients)
- Maintain and develop pricing tools, models and assisting on terms of trade
- Qualified Actuary (FIA, FSA or FIAA) with at least 5 years' experience post qualification.
- At least 10 years of experience in Pricing, especially in critical illness and HNW products in Singapore or Hong Kong.
- Ability to work independently, and manage some team members. Ability to take the lead on projects and provide coaching to more junior team members.
- Excellent command of English - both written and verbal.
- Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate, present and share ideas with colleagues and clients.
- Good understanding of reinsurance knowledge.
