
Accountant (General Ledger)

- Prepare journal entries, P&L statements, month-end closing, and cost reports.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations with supporting documentation.
- Ensure accuracy of financial transactions through data gathering and analysis.
- Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures.
- Monitor budgets, recommend budget levels, and control expenditures.
- Review financial reports and analyze variances in revenue, expenses, and balance sheets.
- Collaborate with business units to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain strong working relationships across finance and functional teams.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal policies.
- Manage financial systems and databases, and input financial data for reporting.
- Set clear goals and manage priorities effectively.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1 -3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge in IFRS16 and 15 is a plus
- Prior experience with Oracle Financials or other ERP systems is an advantage
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, ledger management, and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Access is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to meeting deadlines
