- Perform data extraction and transformation from various sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data)
- Design data models and execute data analytics procedures to identify trends, anomalies, and insights to support audit processes
- Explore the application of natural language processing, unstructured data analytics, and other machine learning techniques to enhance audit procedures
- Experiment with innovative technologies such as generative AI (GenAI) and data platforms such as Snowflake to modernize how audits and related efforts are performed
- Collaborate with team members to develop reporting and operational dashboards and data applications
- Experience in working with SaaS data cloud and reporting technologies such as Snowflake and Tableau
- Real-world business application of data analytics/sciences, intelligent automation, machine learning, and GenAI
- Experience in driving process alignment, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Gain knowledge about audit methodology, risk monitoring, understanding of business processes, controls, and systems
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, AI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and analysis using programming languages such SQL, Python
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate and present work effectively
- Highly professional and discreet, able to maintain confidentiality on projects, especially when dealing with sensitive information
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience working with various types of large and complex datasets, both structured (e.g. transactions, logs) and unstructured
- Experience with large language models (LLM), GenAI use case development, prompt engineering, natural language processing (NLP) techniques and algorithms, unstructured data analysis and text mining
- Strong interest in exploring the application of GenAI and use of LLMs within the audit domain
- Audit, risk, or fraud investigation related experience
- Ability to work effectively with team members in a collaborative environment, actively contribute ideas, and be pleasant to work with
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Capable of working autonomously, taking initiative, and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines
- Strong sense of ownership, demonstrates accountability, and strives for high-quality outcomes
