The Account Executive will be responsible for the generation and development of both inbound and outbound new business opportunities.ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully prospecting and closing new clients in line with the agreed strategy (full sales-cycle ownership)Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new business for 8x8 to agreed annual qualitative and quantitative targetsResponsible for managing the relationship with key accounts and interact at all levels within the customer's organizationActively and successfully manage the entire sales processManage and develop the sales pipeline, ensuring all sales administration is kept up-to-dateCreate and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentationPossess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and exploredBe able to handle sales objection, CXO conversations, rallying industry executive relationships, negotiate and close dealsParticipating in sales and marketing activities and relevant Global industry eventsBuilding current account strategy based on analysing data to find opportunities and prove valueKeeping updated on industry trends and movements and advising management accordingly through regular networkingIntroducing, uploading and maintaining relevant prospect/customer information into the company's CRM toolQualificationsExtensive relevant experience in driving direct enterprise sales in a reputable software or SaaS company. Previous experience in the mobile or internet industry is highly beneficialTrack record of exceeding ambitious revenue goals/quotas in previous positions strongly desiredStrong sales discipline and willingness to lead pipeline and internal sales processes which might require admin effort.
