Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Conducting engineering work for project and liaising with the consultants, vendors, contractors and customers.
• Managing equipment package and ensuring technical compliance from suppliers and vendors.
• Performing design work, which include Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Piping and Instrumentations Diagram (P&ID), design calculation, functional description, design technical specification, estimation and related documents in compliance with tender & code of practice.
• Incorporating respective process design and mechanical design into plant overall process systems and also to review these design documents including PID, protection and layout to achieve plant integrated and plant functional objectives.
• Preparing technical submissions of proposal including drawing, layout and interacting point requirement.
• Preparing Presentation slide, MSRA, micro schedule, look ahead plan, daily/monthly report during construction & T&C stage
• Attending all relevant WSH activities such as Safety site walk, TBM, audit, safety stand down etc
• Liaison with local authorities, stakeholders related to assign construction activities responsibility
• Providing technical supports to site and liaise with other engineer during project execution and commissioning work.
• Overseeing/ manage/ monitor/ control/ reporting site activities of sub-contractors and coordinating on site level with other partners’ sub-contractors.
• Conduct QAQC inspection/ testing for the area of responsibility
• Independently chairing / leading the sub-contractor meeting and attending any stakeholders, client, authorities meeting whenever is required.
• Any other instruction or direction by management

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in design, construction or operation.
• Familiar with process engineering, mechanical system and their standards in related discipline.
• Related working experience in thermal power plant, process industries and mechanical handling equipment.
• Experience in Heavy Lifting will be preferred.
• Experience in BIM and hands-on AutoCad operating will be preferred.
• Knowledge in engineering, planning and design software.
• Willing to work at Shek Kwu Chau
