We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-driven IT Auditor to join our client's internal audit team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in evaluating IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC), with working knowledge of Java and SQL to support application-level audits. This role involves assessing the design and effectiveness of technology controls across critical systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.Key Responsibilities:Conduct end-to-end audits focusing on ITGC and ITAC, including access controls, change management, data integrity, and interface controlsPerform technical audits by reviewing application logic and backend data using Java and SQL understandingEvaluate compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices (e.g., COBIT, ISACA)Document detailed audit findings and prepare clear, actionable reportsCollaborate with client stakeholders to identify risk areas and provide control recommendationsContribute to audit planning and continuous improvement initiativesMust-Have Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in IT audit or risk managementStrong hands-on experience in testing ITGC and ITAC controlsWorking knowledge of Java and SQL for audit analysisFamiliarity with industry control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISACA)Good-to-Have:Experience with ISO 27001 audits or SWIFT CSCF compliance or SOXProfessional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or equivalentExposure to GRC tools and audit management platformsSoft Skills:Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple audits and meet deadlines in a client-facing environmentArgyll Scott Asia is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
