
SEA IT Senior Applications Engineer

- Develop expert understanding and technical knowledge of assigned business critical application(s) process flow, functionalities and usage, operations, components and integrated company's systems across other Southeast Asia offices
- Providing regional end-users support via phone / email / remote or onsite for incident and service request ticket handling and escalation within SLA till call ticket is closed.
- Involve in project lifecycle development, identify business requirements, architecture design, code, configure, test and debug, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change requirements, impact analysis and monitor post implementation benefits in close technical consultation with various stakeholders supporting the organization's business.
- Develop and maintain standard processes, technical, project or other related documentations, code repository as may be required, to support development, operational management and training.
- Collaborate and maintain effective communications with various support teams, vendors as well as maintaining business relationships to ensure quality of work and compliance to policy and procedure.
- Problem handling and timely escalation, work collaboratively and communicate the investigation statuses, root cause analysis and provide post resolution reporting for high severity incidents.
- Data backup and restore responsibility to ensure the data are safeguarded, protected and available when required for business continuity
- Conduct BCP approach / Data Recovery drill periodically
- Perform IT related duties/projects as assigned, which may include project implementation/development from end-to-end

- Bachelor Degree qualification either in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or relevant field
- 3 to 5 years relevant work experience in system analyst and software development
- Good and effective communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written in English
- Excellent analytical, multi-tasking & problem-solving skills
- Intuitive and self-motivated character always striving to improve
- Ability to adapt to changes fast & work under pressure
- Able to maintain a positive and cooperative attitude when work as part of a team and share responsibilities when needed
- Enthusiasm, a desire to constantly learn and share new knowledge for innovation, business process automation, modernization and digitalization.
- Working knowledge of the following technologies will be an added advantage:
- Proficiency in Microsoft technology products, Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server relational database management
- Azure and/or AWS Cloud administration
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Node JS, C#
- UiPath, RPA Automation, Logic Apps, Copilot
- Excel, Power BI, Power Platform
- PowerShell or other scripting language
- Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance principles for both Waterfall & Agile methodologies
