What better way to experience Marriott International, Inc. than actually being part of us?DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIESThe intern will work with Marriott’s Global Design team in the design and development of new-built or conversion hotels.Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the department in reviewing design proposals for new hotel projects and prepare reports. This include overall hotel masterplanning, construction drawings as well as materials.
- Assist in the preparation of Property Improvement Plans for conversion hotels as well as hotel renovation projects.
- Conduct progressive site inspections and prepare inspection reports thereafter.
- Conduct handover inspections and prepare defect rectification reports.
- Upkeep and maintain department design database.
- Prepare presentation materials during design meetings.
- Ability to learn quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Detailed-oriented, structured, and organized.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, additional Asian language will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
- Ability to understand Architectural drawings.
