- Lead a team of engineers to focus on developing broad ICT and digital solutions for training and learning solutions, collaborating with the Simulation unit to enhance training capabilities across MHA and Home Team Departments. • To oversee support of these systems if required, or otherwise handover to sustenance team for continuous support and improvement. • Responsible for front-end planning, system design and conceptualisation, development, team leadership, project and stakeholder management, contract management, vendor management, and execution to ensure successful project delivery. • Manage the performance of direct staff and help to develop their skills, competencies and growth to become effective Project Managers and Technical Managers. • As part of the PMG (Programme Management Group) and HTX, to align, coordinate and support the strategic thrusts, directions, initiatives and efforts for better organisational development and performance. • To oversee and support HTA's Digitalisation Plan and S&T requirements when required.
- A relevant Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology. • At least 10-15 years in developing ICT or engineering systems, and preferably in full software or product lifecycle management experience. • At least 5 years' experience in managing medium to large team. • Experience in driving technologies and innovation • Familiarity with the Whole-of-Government environment would be an advantage • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and leading by setting good examples. • Possess good time management • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills for internal/external stakeholder engagement. • Ability to manage multiple issues and collaborate with various parties with different requirements, demands and expectations. • Meticulous in planning and execution. • Possess a strong sense of responsibility, good work ethic, positive working attitude, resourceful; and • Possess good written and communication skills. All new appointees are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure overtime, based on performance.
