What the role is:Project Title: Using AI/ML to transform investigation We are seeking a motivated and innovative intern to join our team to work alongside our project manager to conceptualise, plan, and develop AI/ML solutions to reinvent/disrupt the traditional enforcement and investigation processes.What you will be working on:1. Conceptualise, pilot and/or develop AI/ML solutions that aim to do all or some of the followings: • JobRequirementMatcher: Based on submitted CVs of an employee, identify if attributes under his/her CV matches the job requirements of a job advertisement. This is to facilitate the investigation into cases where employers do not give interview opportunities to potential candidates who has indicated attributes that meet the job requirement. • IOcalculator: Based on various computation logic and requirements under the Progressive Wage Model (PWM), create an eligibility checker and salary calculator for PWM workers and employers. • InvestHelper: Based on existing Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs), past cases data and interactions details, recommend the next best course of action to take for our Investigation Officers. • AutoMetaTag: Based on case details and information within a case, assign metadata tags (by domain, key subject areas, offences) to all existing and new cases to facilitate Knowledge Management and enable searching of information via the metadata tags. • DataExtractorGPT: Based on several CSV data files uploaded, allow user to provide prompts via natural language on how the CSV tables should be joint (i.e., primary key and joint types between each table), and allow user to input prompt to generate aggregated data in a table format. 2. During the conceptualisation phase, the intern will have opportunities to apply design thinking, UX/UI, prototyping and user journey concepts in identifying real world pain points in law and enforcement operations. 3. The intern can look forward to testing out his/her solution/concept via a working prototype or work towards a proof of concept (POC) with potential vendors. 4. We are on a transformation journey to leverage on AI/ML to reinvent our enforcement and investigation processes.
