head of legal & compliance

• Provide sound, coherent and commercially minded legal advice and compliance support on all matters relating to the organisation's day-to-day activities
• Build strong regulatory relationships with MAS and other regulatory bodies in championing the adoption of best industry standards
• Review and provide recommendations on the legal/compliance aspects and considerations for the development and deployment of new products and services as well as any key business initiatives
• Advise on the impact of laws, regulations and codes on current or proposed business activities

• Relevant experience in Legal and Compliance positions within law firms or financial institutions; experience in a fintech environment will be an added advantage
• Well versed in the payment landscape
• Familiarity with Payment Service Act and MAS regulations
• Enjoy the start-up culture and thrive in a fast-paced demanding ecosystem
