
Assistant Manager Strategic Operations

- Align activities and processes required for service delivery across the division
- Drive quality improvement and process optimization initiatives
- Support grant management administration such as project funding application and progress report submissions
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, manage project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate techniques
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand various key work processes, gain better insight into a business problem and formulate data-driven approaches to resolving them, analyze and draw conclusions for presentation to management
- Develop detailed operation strategy, measure and track operational performance to ensure the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Keep abreast of market trends, developments, and regulatory requirements and provide analyses for insight
- Build, assess and maintain operational resilience for business continuity, including risk management to minimize operational risks
- Support Division business development and planning needs
- Coordinate sector partnerships and engagements, where relevant
- Support Division needs for corporate compliance and/or relevant services
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Have a degree in the appropriate field of study
- Possess a minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations & project management (healthcare environment an added advantage)
- Display good organization skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Possess excellent people skills, as a team player and in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong strategic and critical thinking
- Be able to work independently and under pressure
- Be able to manage/lead change management
