As an M&E Engineer, you will be involved in the operation, inspection and maintenance of M&E and Security Systems.What you will be working on:- Involve in the inspections/ testing & commissioning/ handing/ taking over of New Building and ensure all post- construction documentations such as asset list, operational & maintenance manual, as-built documents are submitted promptly and filed systematically - Oversee the operation, inspection and maintenance of M&E and Security Systems - Conduct comprehensive stocktakes of facilities' M&E systems and installations, including planning of M&E maintenance and recommend regimes (e.g. preventive, predictive, corrective, cyclical replacements) that will ensure optimal operating efficacy without compromising facilities' operation - Ability to develop outcome/ performance-based M&E (including Security Systems) contract specifications - Involve in procurement of FM, Maintenance, Project Works, Goods and Services contracts from specifications drafting, tender/ quotation calling, evaluation, award recommendations and execution - Provide strategic guidance and analytical capability on facilities' M&E systems/ components/performance - Ability to audit, guide and manage the FM team and contractors, conduct inspections and assessment on their performance and quality delivery - Perform cost-benefit analysis of all M&E proposals including post-implementation reviews - Identify and implement innovative strategies, technologies and best practices to optimise energy efficiency and facility operations - Establish and monitor M&E and Security Systems performance and KPIs - Familiar with Green Mark, Energy Audit and other prevailing statutory requirements and able to draft specifications to engage Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional, Energy Audit Specialist, etc - Familiar with EV Charging Infrastructure and formulate strategies for upgrading of facilities to align with organisational plan - Able to evaluate technical submissions and recommendations and determine its suitability for our facilities - Able to manage works within approved objectives, timeline and budget - Able to coordinate and handle internal users' request, and to provide timely updates/ closure - Oversee M&E assets inventory and tracking - Maintain good documentation of correspondence/ recordsWhat we are looking for:- Recognized Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronic) or equivalent competencies - Min. 10 years working experience in the planning, management, maintenance and operations of M&E systems for commercial/ institutional / healthcare / hospitality / data centre facilities - Good knowledge in Fire Safety Management, Green Mark and Energy Trends - Familiar with Public Sector procurement procedures and contracts administration - Team player with strong analytical skills, able to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders - Self-motivated, proactive, attention to details and resourceful - Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills - Adept at administrative documentation, project and maintenance information management - Competent in use of MS office like Excel, Power Point, Word, Tele-Conferencing Tools, SharePoint - Candidates with knowledge in Building Information Modelling (BIM) is preferred - Only Singaporeans need apply We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About MHA - Internal Security Department (ISD):The Internal Security Department (ISD) confronts and addresses threats to Singapore's internal security and stability.
