This is a hybrid role with exposure to operational work such as procurement, policy and workflow reviews and audit works. Potential to transfer skills and knowledge to full admin & operational support for allied health division.Job ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities and Duties (80%) * Plan/implement/upgrade schedule, allocate resources, ensure timely execution of all tasks under authority and coordinate with system vendors and department end users.
- Responsible for annual IT workplan submissions in consultation with department leads and ops personnel. Coordinate acquisition and implementation.
- Manage IT-related planning and execution for allied health departments in future campus (IGH).
- Credential Trainer for EPIC modules and provide training for new users to the department.
- Assess and handle EPIC change requests from users. Handle build changes to fulfill user requirement or resolution of root cause.
- Oversee and manage integrations between various internal systems and external client systems, compliance to security requirements, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Contribute to the strategic evolution of departments' systems and applications on cloud storages, leveraging Synapxe/private solutions to optimize service provision and achieve long term cost-effectiveness.
- Upgrade existing IT systems to meet new requirements. Work closely with key staff in supported departments, automate workflow by using IT solutions whenever possible.
- In charge of:
- Managing and administering department's servers, workstation and printers in the LAN environment.
- Acquisition and implementation of computer system and accessories.
- Compilation of schedule workload statistical reports.
- Undertaking of scheduled and ad hoc data extraction and compilation as required by users.
- Price updates, charge rectification and audit activities.
- Maintaining contracts and following-up with system vendors and department.
- Responsible to review, update and implement IT SOPs according to MOH, cluster and Synapxe directive, including business continuity measures during downtime.
- In-charge of regular IT audits for assigned allied health departments.
- Support and manage the tracking of KPIs for cluster/institution initiatives
- To be involved in informatics-related projects to improve operations for assigned allied health areas.
- Involved in cross-institutional efforts to carry out cluster harmonisation works on systems changes
- Perform other assignments as delegated by reporting officer
- Prior experience with EPIC systems will be highly advantageous
- Solid knowledge of cloud computing concepts, DICOM, HL7 standards, LAN/WAN & internet connectivity
- Knowledge of budgeting and procurement processes
- Good understanding of information security policies, network security and firewall administration
- Effective and demonstrable analytical, problem solving and organisational skills with high level of attention to details
- Ability to prioritise and simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects within tight timeline
- Self-motivated, able to learn quickly and be flexible
- Work independently with minimal supervision
