We are looking for an individual who is passionate about DeFi to join us as a Smart Contract Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for building and shipping the next generation of Treehouse DeFi products that will change the DeFi landscape as we know it. The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of Solidity and experience in deploying smart contracts.ResponsibilitiesBuild and implement well-organized, secure, and innovative smart contractsDesign and implement peripheral mechanisms and back-end components for Treehouse dApp and ecosystem of productsIntegrate analytics and risk metrics for crypto portfoliosResearch and test existing and new blockchain technologies and applicationsParticipate in discussions from the initial product ideas to launchCollaborate with teams to assess the feasibility of scaling solutions and identify potential challengesEngage with internal and external auditing teamsAdvise on emerging blockchain technologies and trendsStay up-to-date with the latest hacks, tooling, and security practicesSkills & Requirements5 years of experience as a programmer3+ years of experience in developing and releasing secure and production ready smart contracts in Solidity3 years of experience programming in python, C++, or rustProficient in blockchain data structures, EVM-based storage and querying.Experience with writing and reading subgraphs queriesPossess a strong knowledge of Blockchain technology and development cyclesExperience with running full nodes and testnetsSelf-motivated, proactive, and ability to deliver on deadlines.Strong project management and communication skillsAble to independently explore and research new domain knowledgeStrong logical thinking and a problem solver with an interest in building complex smart contractsA passion for DeFiPreferred SkillsProficient in SolidityKnowledge of UNIX based OS and scriptingExperience with dApps or AWS software developmentFamiliar with Agile project management conceptsUnderstand modern packaging and distribution technologies such as PIP, DockerCompany DescriptionTreehouse is a digital assets data firm focused on institutional-grade portfolio, protocol, and market analytics.
