What the role is:You will be part of the Human Resource Directorate under The People & Organisation Group which focuses on developing people and organisational capabilities. As strategic partners to our Directorates and AGD officers, we aim to build a performance driven workforce that is future ready and agile. We work closely with senior management to nurture an engaged workforce that is motivated and passionate with One Public Service mindset to transform the public sector through finance.What you will be working on:Responsibilities: As a Talent Attraction specialist, you will be involved in attracting and hiring the best talents to support AGD's manpower needs. You will build relationship with line Directorates and develop a good understanding of their business and talent needs. You will be involved in the following: • Manage end-to-end recruitment function, which includes sourcing, screening, facilitating interviews and managing offer process • Organise and manage recruitment and outreach events • Identify manpower trends to support the development and implementation of talent attraction strategies • Drive awareness to position AGD as an Employer of Choice • Harness HR technologies and data to streamline and automate recruitment processesWhat we are looking for:Requirements: (a) Functional/Technical Competencies: • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource, Psychology, Business Administration, or related disciplines • At least 3 years' relevant experience and knowledge in recruitment and/or employer branding • Prior HR experience in the public sector and familiarity with Civil Service policies and guidelines will be an advantage • Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply (b) Generic Competencies: • Innovative individual who will think out of the box to find solutions for existing and anticipated problems • A proactive attitude, results oriented and display strong multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines • Ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate effectively and build trust in order to influence, facilitate and resolve conflicts • Ability to proactively identify and manage the impact of changing workforce requirements; and align HR strategies and policies to develop workforce capacity and capability • Strong analytical, written, communication and inter-personal skills You will be notified whether you have been shortlisted within 4 weeks from the closing date of this job posting.About Accountant-General's Department:The Accountant-General's Department (AGD) plays an important role in making Singapore a better place through Finance.
