
Counsellor / Social Worker (FAM Tampines)

- Part of the Intake & Triage Team to conduct intake assessments for new intakesto identify needs, strengths, and risks and make necessary referrals for clients.
- Conduct counselling for individuals, couples and families who are experiencing stress due to marital and family-related issues
- Conduct case management for clients and case conferences with stakeholders.
- Plan, review and facilitate groupwork intervention for parents and children.
- Facilitate premarital and divorce related programmes and workshops to help equip couples and parents with knowledge that enhance relationships and skills to cope with life transitions.
- Facilitate and supervised visitation access of divorcing/ divorced parents with their children and ensuring that the session carries on smoothly and safely for both the parent and children.
- Provide programme and/ or practice/clinical supervision to junior Counsellor/Social Worker and/or interns/Contract for Service Family Life Educators to ensure programme fidelity and quality service delivery
- Contribute to quality practice and professional matters in agency
- Engage in research to evaluate activities and identify service gaps.
- Facilitate internal training for team / service point
- Support networking and advocacy sessions with partners and stakeholders
- Master Degree in Counselling OR Bachelor Degree in Social Work (preferably with a recognised certification in Counselling)
- At least 5 years of relevant casework / counselling experience in counselling, social work, or related work involving family, parents and children, and have experience in conducting training and workshop
- Preferably accredited member of SASW or clinical member of SAC
- Comfortable in conflict management
- Able to work in multiple site
