JOB DESCRIPTIONJob SummaryWe are seeking a commercially driven, versatile and self-motivated individual to support the Keppel Education Asset Funds (the “Funds”) as it grows its portfolio under management in Asia PacificThe role offers hands-on involvement of the investment and asset management processes including (i) managing end-to-end investment process from underwriting potential investment opportunities, transactions management, deal conclusion and divestment as well as (ii) asset management of portfolio assets.The ideal candidate will combine strong financial and analytical skills with commercial acumen and stakeholders’ engagement contributing to the delivery of maximizing risk-adjusted investment returns for the investors.Investment
  • Identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities in Asia Pacific, including preparing board papers and financial models
  • Responsible for the structuring and executing of deal acquisitions (including underwriting deals, conducting feasibility studies, cashflow analysis and due diligence)
  • Project manages investment and divestment processes including bidding and off-market transactions
  • Collaborate with internal functional teams and external consultants to prepare deal documentation and contractual agreements
  • Conduct and coordinate legal, tax, technical & financial due diligence for assets to be acquired
  • Assisting with investors’ pitchbook preparation, queries on investment portfolio.
Asset Management
  • Develop and recommend strategies to maximize performance and enhance assets under management
  • Prepare budgets, periodic forecasts and asset plan
  • Review of actual performance of portfolio assets against budget and strategies
  • Monitor progress of development and asset enhancement works
  • Prepare quarterly reports and related information for investors’ reporting
  • Collate data for sustainability reporting, safety performance and other green initiatives
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Accountancy, Business, Real Estate or equivalent from a good university
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in either M&A advisory, and or investment and asset management. Experience in the education sector or the private equity sector is a plus.
  • Good communication skills including presentation and writing skills
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, financial statement analysis and valuation
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, willing to learn and able to work under tight deadlines together with the team
