- Monitor, trend, analyze energy and water data to improve and optimize usage. Ensure the BOOM & IFM vendor execute site energy and water conservation projects to save cost.
- Monitor Utility Operation by BOOM & IFM vendor to ensure safe, reliable operation with uninterrupted utilities supply to site.
- Ensure BOOM & IFM vendor develop utility operational SOP/procedures to ensure safe operation and shutdown of utility equipment and systems.
- Support manager to achieve financial objectives by preparing and controlling against approved annual utility operation budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions for utility equipment/systems and utilities services.
- Ensure BOOM & IFM vendor resolve equipment performance to identify/define the problem and root cause, examine alternative solutions, and develop action plans.
- Support project construction and commissioning by reviewing new commissioning plans, discussing equipment needs and modifications with contractors, engineers and consultants, coordinating activities related to utility equipment and systems.
- Lead/participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support (IRS/QAR) investigations.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing desired results/KPIs.
- Assigned as the CI Champion for improvement in Site Wide Energy Saving
- As the Energy Manager for site, handles and oversees the submission of:
- EEOA (Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessment) report to NEA (National Environment Agency) as per ECA (Energy Conservation Act) requirement
- annual energy report & energy efficiency improvement plan to PGE energy portal and NEA as per ECA (Energy Conservation Act) requirement
- EnMS (Energy Management System) report to NEA as per ECA (Energy Conservation Act) requirement
- emission report to NEA as per carbon pricing act.
- As the Water Efficiency Manager for site, submits WEMP (Water Efficiency Management Plan) including water balance chart to PUB (Public Utilities Board)
- Lead and complete annual Greenmark certification in Utilities area and submit to BCA (Building & Construction Authority)
- Represent Tuas to participate in global Net Zero and sustainability program
- Represent Pfizer to attend BMAC meeting focus in energy management
- Support new project development/CC implementation by reviewing project plans; discussing utilities requirement with project team/related parties and coordinating resources on inspections and commissioning of new equipment to conform with operational standards.
- Participate and support global initiatives to share/learn best practices and implement improvements to achieve high reliability and reduction in energy/water cost.
- Engage and inspire Utilities Specialist on performance expectations and coach team to meet those expectations using Coaching Skills principles.
- Focal point for and supports project/construction management for CUB BOOM Project
- All Front-Line Leaders have JD which details their role and responsibilities. To ensure a strong understanding of GMP and good data management practices, relevant trainings shall be assigned to FLL curricula. The JD outlines the expectation of FLL and includes:
- Engage and inspire their teams on performance expectations and coach team to meet those expectations using Coaching Skills principles.
- Focus on Safety and GMP Compliance as operational priorities and as performance measures that should include metrics
- Know the process and procedures, including the principles and practices of good data management (ALCOA) , and be able to guide, advise and coach their teams.
- Be accountable for the Good Data Management and Data integrity understanding and performance of their team.
- Effectively monitor the actions of their team. Ensure an active daily presence is GMP work area to observe work activity and practices within their role responsibilities Note: Any compliance deviation will be investigated in accordance with QAC-PR0-0000337 Deviation and Event Procedure
- Be available to their direct reports for real time escalations of any concerns or support needs.
- Be observant , investigate and report actions or behaviors that may negatively impact the desired outcome of the GMP process or activity
- Lead and Support continuous improvement efforts, where applicable.
- Be a role model to support a positive compliance culture.
- Review the content of all Leader Led Conversation and, on an annual basis, conduct two 'Leader Led Conversations' with their teams aimed at foster ing a culture that supports compliance with procedures, including good data management.
