JOB DESCRIPTIONProvide financial leadership and strategic thinking to support sustainable value-creationWork closely with Business Solutions Team to implement and streamline processes across the entire accounting and finance spectrum, leveraging automation and technological solutions to drive efficiency and productivity.Lead and supervise the Finance team, providing clear guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growthSupervise and review the timely preparation of financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholdersEnsuring compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and Group policies.Overall responsible for all tax reporting matters with tax agents and Group TaxPlan and oversee the annual financial audit processReview and resolve accounting issues where necessaryEnsure that issues and deficiencies arising from audit findings are resolved on timely basisRespond to internal and external auditors on audit data, variances and audit findingsManage a documented system of accounting policies and proceduresEstablish and maintain robust accounting procedures, processes, and controls for each entity, streamlining workflows and ensuring accuracyInitiate and lead process improvement projectsLead and manage teams to ensure optimisation of resourcesOversee the training and development of teams to ensure competency in performing all required tasksJOB REQUIREMENTS· Recognised degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification, preferably CA· 10 - 12 years of relevant working experience, ideally with initial years in a Big 4 audit firm followed by commercial experience· Conversant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) and other regulatory compliance requirements of listed companies· Strong leadership experience in managing and leading teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting· Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow· Self-driven, meticulous, energetic, proactive, good team player, good interpersonal and communication skills, and a keen analytical mind· Must be able and willing to accept intra-department or inter-division transfers/job rotations, and henceforth changes in work scope and responsibilities· Application submission to include appraisals from existing and past employersBUSINESS UNIT
