Our mission is to be the trusted source of news on Singapore and Asia, to represent the communities that make up Singapore, and to connect them to the world.Job DescriptionAs a product designer intern in The Business Times, you will work closely with Product designers and Product team to frame problems to be solved and design creative solutions. This encompasses understanding users and business needs, creating intuitive user flows, and creating compelling User Interface and prototypes to make your ideas come to life.On a day to day basis, this means: - Creating UX deliverables that will help shape design rationale and kickstart conversations with stakeholdersBuilding UI mockups and prototypes - Creating detailed user interface specifications - Guiding engineers in their implementation of your designsParticipating in creating and maintaining our in-house design systemRequirements - A portfolio of work, demonstrating creative problem-solving skillsDynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiencesCuriosity for publishing industry and news platformsAbility to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedbackAn intuitive eye for customer needsA passion for designApplication InstructionsPlease apply for this position by submitting your text CV using InternSG.
