The NTU-WeBank Joint Research Centre On FinTech invites applications for the position of Senior Principal Research Scientist.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive fintech innovation and commercialization.Engage with key stakeholders including financial institutions and industry partners.Cultivate and maintain relationships with Fintech ecosystem players to foster collaboration and partnership opportunities.Drive the design and execution of joint collaboration programs aimed at fostering innovation and scaling fintech solutions.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and risks.Job Requirements:Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a world leading university.Strong international experience in fintech innovation, business development and strategic partnerships, with a focus on South East Asia markets.Proven track record of driving successful joint collaboration programs and partnerships in the fintech sector.Deep understanding of the South East Asia fintech ecosystem, including key players, regulatory landscape, and market dynamics.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.International experience preferred, with a strong network of contacts in the South East Asia region.Excellent oral and written communications, with strong interpersonal skills.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
