Chartering Exec (6 months contract, Town)

- 6 months contract (Possibility for conversion)
- 5 days work week
- Oversee commercial operations and post fixtures of the chartered out/in vessels to ensure Charter Parties are implemented smoothly and disputes are handled professionally
- Participate in the review and negotiate with charterers/owners of the charter in/out vessels on the charter terms and contracts
- Drafting and checking of the Charter Parties & Addenda to ensure the charter party terms are in order
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers and brokers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Coordinate with Finance team to ensure hire is promptly arranged and to ensure expenses are recovered on a monthly basis
- Participate in ad-hoc project and chartering duties as assigned
- Degree/Diploma in Maritime Studies/ Business Administration/ Commerce or equivalent
- 1 3 years of chartering experience
- Able to start work within short notice
- Can work independently
- Fast learner, analytical, self-motivated with good initiative
- Excellent command of English, spoken and written
