- Data Design & Development
- Develop and configure interlocking application data based on approved signalling design and project specifications.
- Translate functional design requirements into accurate, consistent interlocking logic and data.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, system architecture, and signalling principles.
- Testing & Validation
- Support offline testing and simulation of interlocking data for functional verification.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and integration testing phases.
- Analyse and troubleshoot issues during the testing and commissioning phases, providing timely resolutions.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including data design records, configuration logs, and change reports.
- Provide input for as-built documentation to support project handover and system maintenance.
- Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with system design, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure alignment across all project stages.
- Support interface teams to ensure smooth integration with ATS, CBTC and external interfaces.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Railway Signalling Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in railway signalling, with a focus on interlocking systems.
- Proven experience in data preparation, configuration, and testing for CBTC or conventional signalling systems.
- Exposure to CBTC GoA 4 projects and familiarity with Siemens interlocking systems are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of railway signalling principles, safety standards (e.g., CENELEC EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129), and system architecture.
- Proficiency in configuration tools, version control systems, and simulation environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and documentation capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment.
- Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Familiarity with RAMS processes and system safety assurance.
- Ability to support on-site commissioning and interface resolution activities.
