The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.Key Responsibilities:Specific precipitationLiquid-liquid or Liquid/solid extractionSimulation of scaled up process.Design of continuous process based on the most interesting systems for the selective recovery of the metal ions of interestImplementation of the process at pilot scale (~10 L/h or larger) to demonstrate its feasibility and to give first hints for cost analysis from the perspective of development at industrial sizeJob Requirements:PhD in Chemical Engineering / ChemistryCandidate with strong background on chemical separation processes, especially hydrometallurgy ones.Good record of publications and IPsExperience with lab set up or prototype developmentFamiliar with chemical elements characterization techniques (Spectrophotometry, ICP, FX…)Familiar with Labview, python or process simulation softwareExcellent command of oral and written English.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
