Office of Student Support - Senior Manager (Donations and Stewardship)

- Develop and oversee the implementation of fundraising initiatives in support of the polytechnic’s education, annual giving, major gifts, endowment, scholarships and other institutional-related donations programmes.
- Identify, cultivate, and engage potential donors, including managing high-value donor relationships.
- Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., Schools, Centres) to align fundraising efforts with institutional priorities (scholarships, bursaries, facilities, programmes).
- Develop and implement stewardship plans to recognise, appreciate, and retain donors.
- Lead a team to ensure timely and meaningful donor communications (impact reports, appreciation letters, recognition events).
- Strengthen long-term partnerships by demonstrating the impact of donations and aligning with donor interests.
- Manage and leverage a donor recognition framework (wall of donors, naming opportunities, etc) to help deepen relations with existing and potential donors.
- Deepen partnerships with community partners and relevant organisations aligned to the cause of holistic student support and assistance.
- Lead the administration and support the secretariat functions of the polytechnic’s education funds.
- A passion for working with people, especially in account and relationship management
- 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably gained in the education and/or charity sectors
- Team leadership capabilities, with the ability to coach/mentor staff
- Solves novel and complicated issues on a regular basis
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve performance, services or processes
- A self-starter with an open and positive mindset
- Strong collaborative and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Microsoft Tools e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
