What the role is:As an Assistant Director/ Senior Engineer / Engineer (Electrical) in the System Management Branch at Water Systems Department, you will play a crucial role in both the project development and ongoing maintenance efforts. You will collaborate closely with the team of engineers and contractors to support various projects while also ensuring the upkeep and reliability of the equipment, facilities and systems.What you will be working on:Your job role will include, but is not limited to the following: • Plan and implement maintenance activities to ensure its reliability in supporting operational requirements. • Manage contracts related to equipment maintenance to ensure works performed by contractors are executed according to objectives and within budget. • Manage equipment assets according to requirements. • Manage and attend to troubleshooting breakdown maintenance. • Calling of quotations/tenders, managing contracts and performing administrative procurement tasks for assigned project/ maintenance works. • Coordinating, consulting and obtaining approval from stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of works. • Any other duties as assigned.What we are looking for:
  • Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, preferably with at least 2 years of experience in maintenance work. • Experience in implementing cybersecurity solutions and tools, managing or developing SCADA and PLC systems will be an advantage. • Independent, result-oriented and self-driven team player with good communication and project management skills. • Analytical abilities to interpret data and carry out appropriate analysis. • Candidates without prior experience are also welcome to apply​ • Work Location: Waterhub, 80 Toh Guan Road East, Singapore (608575)
