The role will be the key support in assisting the School's senior management in the formulation and execution of strategic priorities through innovation, collaborations and engagements with internal and external stakeholders both locally and internationally.The responsibilities of this role are:Strategic Implementation of global initiatives
- Support our target growth in faculty recruitment, student diversity and alumni engagement through international outreach initiatives.
- Support the expansion of strategic partnerships with large regional organizations and international institutions to expand market reach and engagement.
- Support the development of a robust pipeline of academic and industry alliances, both locally and regionally.
- Develop outreach efforts with identified senior contacts in target organisations
- Initiate programmes to increase the number of academic and corporate partnerships
- Cultivate and support relationships with senior stakeholders and generate high-level opportunities for potential collaborations and partnerships.
- Strategic planning of selected events that align with the University's and School's vision of strategic faculty recruitment, continuing education programmes expansion, international partners cultivation, and strengthening of alumni engagement.
- Conceptualisation of the programme flow, invitation of appropriate guest speakers, engagement activities, liaison with stakeholders locally and globally and overall management of logistics and budget.
- Advise and support senior management's engagement with external and overseas parties, including facilitating meetings with partners institutions.
- Occasionally, provide support for speech editing in Chinese on a needs basis
- Prepare interaction reports on engagement with partner institutions and global entities.
- Degree holder from a recognized institution
- Minimally 8-9 years of work experience, with at least 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in international relations, partnership development and management, education programmes administration, or a related field in higher education.
- Bilingual - spoken and written proficiency in both English and Chinese is required as the role incumbent will need to liaise with international partners as well as review Chinese speeches occasionally.
- Prior consulting experience at management consulting firms will be a plus.
- Prior educational or work experience in US and/or UK would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the education landscape, in particular with higher education
- Knowledge of international relations, cultural diversities and sensitivities
- Good planning, organizational and problem-solving skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- IT savvy with good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
