- The successful candidate will work on a portfolio of NBFS clients (that may include a combination of Payment Fintechs, card schemes and other consumer finance companies).
- Assist in strategy building and ideation to grow the NBFS segment.
- Develop new NBFS relationships to capture opportunities in the payments fintech segment.
- Equipped with good knowledge of banking products (cash management, treasury, digital solutioning such as API).
- Develop new client relationships based on stringent due diligence (including KYC, AML) performed during client onboarding and ability to anticipate good business opportunities.
- Deepen wallet share of existing relationships by cross selling suitable solutions via close partnership with product partners.
- Close collaboration with in-country teams across DBS Core Markets to support clients with multiple geographical presence, to increase cross-sell.
- Work closely with Credit Managers to put up credit proposals for annual reviews and new credit limits.
- Responsible for effectively managing risks (AML, credit and operational) in the portfolio.
- Responsible for day-to-day servicing of portfolio including prompt resolution for clients, via close collaboration with internal stakeholders (cash management, treasury, credit and operations).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in banking/finance or related fields)
- Demonstrated track record of 6-7 years in relationship management, specifically managing client portfolios and deepening wallet share in related client segments.
- Good knowledge of core banking products (cash management, treasury, digital solutioning such as API). Ability to discuss and cross-sell these solutions.
- Prior experience or deep understanding of the Non-Bank Financial Services sector, particularly payment fintechs, card schemes, or consumer finance companies.
- Ability to assist in strategy building and ideation to grow the NBFS segment and to develop new NBFS relationships to capture opportunities.
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and client facing skills.
- Proactive attitude with initiative and a keenness to contribute.
- Self-motivated and high level of responsibility/ ownership.
- Good sense of risk perspective especially AML risk.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
