They are looking to hire a Business Development Director who will work closely with the management team to bring the organisation to new heights, and to deliver strong, fast and sustainable growth.about the manager/teamReporting to the CEO in Singapore, you will be managing a team of 2 and be responsible for overseeing the growth efforts in emerging markets across Asia.about the jobWe are currently looking to hire a Business Development Director for our client. You will be primarily responsible for developing business plans aligned with the organization's direction and managing the team. You'd also work very closely with the cross-functional teams in GTM strategies for the new markets.Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead strategic initiatives to unearth and capitalize on fresh business prospects in Asia, leveraging industry expertise and networks.
  • Oversee market entry strategies, including analysis and competitive analysis, for sustained growth.
  • Cultivate relationships with vital stakeholders, serving as the primary liaison for the company's interests.
  • Lead negotiation processes for favorable agreements, collaborating across departments for cohesive business plans.
  • Foster innovation and mentor junior colleagues, while representing the company at industry gatherings.
  • Offer strategic insights to senior management, championing innovation and long-term success.
skills and experience required
  • Minimum 10 years of B2B business development experience in F&B, retail or similar sectors.
  • Proficient in end-to-end B2B sales, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on key accounts and long-term cycles.
  • Track record of surpassing sales targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
