- Provide essential enterprise level end user computing services to Public Service agencies.
- Plan and execute new initiatives and enhancements that result in innovative use of end-point technologies to meet the needs of forward-looking Public Service agencies.
- Work with team leaders and outsourced service providers to plan, manage and deliver projects to upkeep, strengthen or build new desktop services to improve service satisfaction and delivery.
- Execute projects to deliver desktop services that achieve standardisation of desktop services across Public Service agencies to reduce operations overheads and greater satisfaction of desktop services.
- Supervise and maintain desktop services across Public Service agencies and work with outsourced service providers to attend to issues, problems and request for changes.
- Tracked and notified internal and external stakeholders on the plan to EOS/EOL of licenses, software, accounts, SSL certifications
- Monitored, tracked and ensured Service Level Agreement (SLA) was always met
- Defined, prepared, executed, oversee, tracked and monitored project plans (deliverables, project milestones, risk management, schedules, resources, change requests, service requests etc.)
- Ensured user requirements are met and compliance to system security set by government agency.
- Facilitated and organized meetings between internal and external stakeholders for requirement gathering and discussions.
- Represented the team on any communications with product owners and users.
- Coordinated cross-functional teams of engineers, ensured effective communication and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducted regular project status meetings to provide updates on progress, address concerns, and solicited feedbacks.
- Negotiated and managed working plans with manpower resources across different departments
- Identified and resolved impediments that will affect current and future milestones.
- Verified/Followed-up with engineers’ work to ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Maintained proper documentation to ensure smooth auditing process.
- Built rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Delivered projects on time, within budget, and meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in designing, planning, deploying and leading enterprise level ICT infrastructure for end point services
- Good technical knowledge of end point technologies as primary practice area, with knowledge in supporting technologies such as network and servers
- Proactive and dedicated individual with good leadership and multi-tasking capabilities
- Good interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders
- An adaptable and bold individual who dares to innovate and take smart risks
- Comfortable to travelling to different sites for technical support locally and overseas when required.
