Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits. Own and develop equipment maintenance procedures and schedules Work with the process owners to develop, prioritize and manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability and find solutions to ongoing problems; and identify, quantify, and qualify cost reduction projects Serve as the liaison between facilities, vendor reps, and shift personnel Interact with process owners and tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements Write and publish reports that summarize equipment availability improvements and cost reduction projects All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame For business process and/or Quality Management System (QMS) component that one is responsible or accountable for: Must have Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Chemical or Materials Engineering from a recognized institution between May 2024 to May 2026 Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus Experience and willingness to work on non-standard working hours (e.g. compressed, 12-hour night shifts). Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
