What the role is:You will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for driving compliance with employment guidelines and legislation through effective detection, intervention and deterrence measures.What you will be working on:Your scope of duties are as follows: • Assess case referrals and recommend appropriate enforcement actions against errant employers based on the established framework which include suspension of work pass privileges and other administrative levers. • Manage public enquiries on Employment Act violations which include employers' appeals against the suspension of their work pass privileges. • Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to identify emerging risks and vulnerabilities and manage cross-cutting issues from a WOG perspective. • Apply tools, such as data analytics, to evaluate employers' compliance with MOM's requirements and ensure continued relevancy and effectiveness of policies and processes. • Harness technology (e.g. digital tools, application system enhancements) to continually raise productivity and streamline work processes.What we are looking for:
  • Tertiary qualification in any discipline • Good oral and written communication skills • Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently and effectively with complex issues • A good team player • Knowledge of the Employment Act is an advantage • Hands-on experience in data management and analysis, robotic process automation, and other digital business solutions is an advantage *PWDs are welcome to apply
