[What the role is] You will be part of a team dedicated to inventory management and planning for renewing, upgrading, and extending the life of road transport infrastructure and facilities to ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness whilst meeting regulatory standards.[What you will be working on]
  • Work with relevant maintenance teams to strategically review and plan the cyclical asset renewal of road assets.
  • Safeguard operational & maintenance requirements into the design and implementation of road assets, which will be renewed, during asset renewals for safe operations and ease of maintenance
  • Develop a set of operational & maintenance needs, limitations, challenges for road asset renewals with the various relevant Divisions to help guide tender specifications, resource requirements / specifications.
  • Develop a set of operation and maintenance user requirements to guide the design during renewal of road assets, as part of the Design for Operation and Maintenance (DfOM) approach
  • Look into adoption of innovative solutions (e.g. application of new technology and equipment where feasible) during asset renewals to enhance existing maintenance regime, practices, processes and methodologies
[What we are looking for]
  • Knowledge in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ Electrical/ System/ Communications Engineering
  • Relevant experience in maintenance or project management of new/ asset renewal projects of at least 3 years.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of project management and coordination requirements
  • Good understanding of operational and maintenance requirements for road assets
  • Good critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal and engagement skills
  • Display professionalism, honesty and integrity
  • Dependable and responsible, self-motivated and adaptable to situations and new ideas
