
Building AI Engineer Intern

- Design, develop, and deploy AI models for predictive maintenance, energy optimization, occupancy analytics, and fault detection in building systems
- Work with BMS, EMS, IoT sensors, and other building data sources to collect, clean, and structure data for AI applications
- Collaborate with software engineers and solution architects to integrate AI models into scalable platforms and edge devices
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI, smart buildings, and energy management
- Prototype new solutions and validate them through pilot projects
- Work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to understand requirements, present solutions, and ensure successful implementation
- Ensure AI solutions comply with data privacy regulations, cybersecurity standards, and ethical AI practices
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related fields
- 2 years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably in building automation, energy systems, or smart infrastructure
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and data engineering tools
- Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, lighting, access control), BMS/EMS platforms, and IoT protocols
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and edge computing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
