Guotai Junan International is a major diversified financial services company based in Hong Kong whose core business activities include brokerage, wealth management and investment management.The company has been building up its presence in Singapore to complement its existing businesses in Greater China and serve a wider range of customers and offer new business and financial products to meet evolving investors’ needs in the Greater China and Southeast Asia region.Job DescriptionAbout the roleWe are looking for a full-time intern in the Singapore Asset Management business to work on various business and fund operations projects. The role works closely with our Operations Executive and offers an opportunity to gain exposure to operations activities in an asset manager.Role and Responsibility

Assist in bank and brokers account opening and onboarding and other related matters
Assist in KYC process for onboarding of service providers and customers
Assist Operations Executive in cash and positions monitoring
Assist in ensuring fund and operational compliance
Assist in changes to existing fund set ups and new fund launches
Assist in ad hoc projects whenever required

Requirement

Working towards a degree or diploma in finance, accounting, business or other relevant disciplines
Keen interest in and some knowledge of equities trading and asset management
Fluent in spoken and written English
Fluent in spoken and written Chinese a plus as documentation to/from HQ are in Chinese
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Programming skills in Python or PostgreSQL a plus
