Our client is a global investment firm with a strong track record in managing diversified real estate portfolios across Asia-Pacific. The firm is known for its institutional discipline, local execution capabilities, and collaborative culture.They are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join the real estate team, with a focus on driving value across a portfolio of direct real estate assets in Singapore and Southeast Asia. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement business plans, optimise asset performance, and support strategic initiatives including redevelopment, repositioning, and capital improvements.This is an opportunity to be part of a high-performing and well-capitalised platform with significant dry powder and access to global expertise. The role offers exposure to complex real estate strategies and asset classes, close collaboration with senior investment professionals, and meaningful ownership of performance outcomes. You will play a key role in value creation and decision-making, with opportunities to expand your regional and cross-sector exposure over time.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement asset-level business plans to maximise value and returns
- Oversee third-party property managers, leasing agents, and consultants to ensure operational excellence
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting of assets under management
- Analyse leasing strategies, capex plans, and market trends to inform value-add initiatives
- Monitor and manage tenant relationships, occupancy, and rent collections
- Support strategic repositioning, development, or divestment initiatives where applicable
- Collaborate with acquisitions, finance, legal, and ESG teams to align asset performance with investment goalsKey Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in asset management, property investment, or real estate private equity
- Strong understanding of leasing, financial reporting, budgeting, and property operations
- Experience working with third-party property managers, consultants, and leasing agents
- Highly analytical, with strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and lead across functions
