You will be a crucial leader on the ground, directly overseeing the human operators who are essential to our daily service and ensuring that vehicles are charged, prepped and maintained. This role is a blend of people management, operational planning, and incident response, focusing on the safe and efficient execution of our AV missions. If you are passionate about pioneering the future of transportation and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, we want to hear from youThe Critical Tasks You Will PerformServe as the primary supervisor for our team of safety supervisors, in-vehicle safety drivers, and remote operators. Your main responsibility is to ensure they are performing their duties safely and effectively during daily operations.Manage all aspects of driver and operator scheduling, including shift assignments and timekeeping. Collaborate with hiring and training teams on the hiring, onboarding, and continuous training of all operational staffAct as a critical link between operations and the product/engineering teams. Translate operational challenges, learnings, and opportunities into actionable feedback to guide the design and iteration of the product and service offeringsOversee all on-site depot operations. This includes managing the efficient parking, charging, and staging of autonomous vehicles to ensure they are mission-ready. You will supervise depot staff and ensure all activities are performed safely.Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs). You will be responsible for the continuous monitoring of performance metrics such as safety and uptime, identifying trends, and generating insights for improvementDesign, implement, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of operations, including safety protocols, incident response and overall coordination. Uphold and enforce all operational safety protocols, both in-vehicle and at the depot. Ensure the team is compliant with all company policies and regulatory requirementsQualificationsDiploma or Degree holders2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, or fleet managementTechnical knowledge or direct experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics or IoT deployments is a plusDemonstrated experience supervising drivers, operators, or a field-based team is requiredFamiliarity with safety management systems and risk assessment methodologiesAble to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environmentStrong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skillsDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiencyStrong spoken and written communication skillsAdditional InformationLife at GrabWe care about your well-being at Grab, here are some of the global benefits we offer:
