Manager, Solar Performance Monitoring

- Monitor the health of EDPR's extensive fleet, comprising more than 3000 distributed solar generation plants and utility-scale plants in Singapore and the surrounding region.
- Establish where needed and refine where already available monitoring systems and processes to track performance metrics effectively.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data in the monitoring portal by identifying and correcting data errors.
- Together with O&M team, establish relevant communication channels and procedures to trigger intervention when incidents are detected and follow up after intervention
- Conduct immediate performance diagnostics on power plants facing issues and provide well-defined rectification actions.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions.
- Perform ad-hoc and long-term behavior investigations of the assets to support Root Cause analysis on plant failures
- Generate performance reports for various internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Digital Unit and Engineering team to develop and implement improvements to enhance system performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of performance analysts, providing training and support as needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align performance monitoring objectives with business goals.
- Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in power plant monitoring and incorporate innovative solutions into our operations.
- Academic Level: Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering
- Required Professional experience: At least 5 years in the renewable industry, but relevant experience is same kind of role in the energy industry will be also considered
- Specific knowledge: Strong knowledge of engineering and quality standards for solar PV projects. Good understanding of SCADA systems.
