What the role is:MOM Enforcement team supports the Ministry to protect the interest of our workforce and to build progressive workplaces for Singapore. Join us and be part of the team to uphold various aspects of Singapore's employment legislations such as the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (EFMA), Employment Agencies Act (EAA), Employment Act (EA), and Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA). If your answer to both questions is 'Yes', we want you!What you will be working on:As an MOM's Enforcement Officer, you will plan, execute and enforce policies and standards. You will be trained with knowledge of laws, operating procedures and various Acts administered by MOM to conduct investigation, and enforcement. You will also be rotated to conduct inspections at work sites and dormitories as part of your work. In addition to inspection and investigation work, you will also have the opportunities to build expertise through cross divisional postings within MOM to grow yourself professionally in the enforcement role.What we are looking for:
  • Strong investigative acumen to analyse various aspects of a case and deal with the root of the problem • Strong analytical skills and conceptual abilities • Effective written and communication skills • Be prepared for ad-hoc night/weekend duties when there is an organizational need • Experience in enforcement and investigation • A valid Class 3/3A driving license
